SCLD Crafty Club

Here it is at last! I hope no one was holding their breath while I created this blog. It only took me about 57 days to put up. Isn't it glorious! Keep in mind that I am a Learning 2.0 dropout. Now down to brass tacks.

For those of you who don't know, the SCLD Crafty club has been slowly forming since last September (if my memory serves). That event was a group knitting lesson and potluck at Jean's house. Since then Jennifer has taken the reigns on planning our club meetings (since we are such an unwieldy group, with so many weird schedules). We try to meet one Friday a month at an SCLD branch meeting room at 7pm. We bring potluck based on some theme, and whatever craft or project we are working on at the time. The meetings have lasted about 2 hours each time. We come, we eat, we laugh, we play with our crafts and share our talents. We have used the meeting rooms at AR, SV, MP, and NS so far. No one has been too big on the idea of going to the smaller branches so far, but if that would make it more convenient for anyone who is interested let us know. The more the merrier, and we are curious to see the branches we may not have worked at yet.

I am getting a bit long winded, so I will stop here. If you have any questions, send em. Looking forward to hearing from you.
